Hey there! I’m Annie Walton, a small (4’10”!) but mighty illustrator and surface pattern designer.

Born and raised in the Southern California sunshine, I’m now transplanted and thriving in the suburbs of San Antonio, Texas. I specialize in creating colorful, dynamic, playful art that brings delight to everyday products.

With my unique ability to find inspiration in both the high brow (like a beautiful hand-painted tile) and the low brow (a lovable Frenchie from a sitcom binge), I use my art to tell stories of the sparks of joy in day to day life.

After 15 years focused on raising my four children, I took the leap to build a creative career of my own, embracing the challenge and excitement of being a beginner again! This journey has taught me to slow down and see the beauty in what might seem mundane—a perspective that now infuses every piece I create. With a passion for building out patterns, refining details, and adding just the right splash of color and texture, I love the process of turning an idea into a fully realized piece of art.

When I’m not curled around my iPad creating, you’ll often find me at the gym trying to hit a new personal record in weight-lifting, or goofing off in the pool with my family. When I’m ready to unwind, I love cozy hobbies like embroidering, working on puzzles, or taking an accidental nap with a good book in my hand.
